KANSAS CITY FUGITIVE ADDED TO FBI TOP TEN LIST |

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) today announced the addition of Shauntay L. Henderson to its “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list. Henderson is being sought for an execution- style murder. She should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. Henderson has been charged in Jackson County, Missouri, with murder and armed criminal action in connection with the September 2, 2006 , shooting death of a male victim at a gas station in Kansas City , Missouri . Additionally, Henderson was charged federally with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, and a federal warrant was issued for her arrest on March 6, 2007. Henderson may be connected with 4-5 additional homicides and 40-50 shooting incidents. Henderson is a member of the local 12th Street Gang, which is known to use a variety of high-powered weapons, including assault rifles and semi-automatic pistols. Henderson 's reported violence has helped perpetuate a gang war among Henderson 's affiliates and members of other gang organizations whom Henderson perceives as her enemies. Henderson is described as a black female, 5’5”, 130-140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was born on October 19, 1982 , in Kansas City , Missouri . She may alter her appearance by shaving her head and dressing as a man. Shauntay L. Henderson is 486th person to be placed on the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list, which was established in March 1950. Since then, 455 fugitives have been apprehended or located, 148 of them as a result of citizen cooperation. A reward of up to $100,000 is being offered for any information leading directly to the arrest of Henderson .
