FEDERAL CHARGES FILED IN TOPEKA BANK ROBBERY
TOPEKA, KAN. – Paul Sayer Kjelland, 30, who is in custody in California, is charged with robbing Fidelity State Bank, 300 S.W. 29th, Topeka, Kan., on Dec. 5, 2007.
If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000. The Topeka Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation worked on the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Randy Hendershot is prosecuting.
