The United States Department of JusticeWelcome to the District of Kansas FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Aug.20, 2008 WICHITA MAN CONVICTED OF BANK ROBBERY WICHITA, KAN. – Vance G. Bradshaw, 31, Wichita, was convicted Wednesday on one count of bank robbery. A jury returned the verdict at the end of a two-day trial in federal
court in which prosecutors argued that on April 28, 2008, Bradshaw robbed
the Intrust Bank at 105 N. Main in Wichita. After a photo from a bank surveillance camera appeared in the news, Wichita police received a tip that led them to Bradshaw. Bradshaw is set for sentencing Nov. 3, 2008. He faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Wichita Police Department investigated. U.S. Attorney Eric Melgren and Assistant U.S. Attorney Lanny Welch prosecuted.
